I wanted to do something interesting with the wax and looked up inspiration online and found this. Unfortunately, the pencil did not burn off as I thought it would, maybe because it was underneath the wax. The color seemed to me, complimentary to the design. I am still working on ensuring that the glaze is uniform, you can see in the back that it got smudged.
